The 4x4 rental Land Rover vehicles and off-road trailers for hire are of the highest standard, both in terms of equipment and maintenance to ensure a trouble free experience. All our 4x4 vehicles are the latest models and diesel powered for fuel efficiency. Rental Vehicles:
Land Rover - Defender Latest Models
5 Doors, full time 4x4, satellite tracking, Air conditioner, radio/tape, fire extinguisher, tow strap, roof rack, gas bottles and brackets, 35 liter Fridge/Freezer.
Off-road Trailers:
The off-road trailers are very popular for their sturdy design and ease of handling. You are therefore able to take much more equipment and luggage on your travels.
They come fully equipped with:
- Camping equipment
- Rooftop tents, 4 sleeper
- Freezer, optional
- Side and back door for easy access

Deposits and Cancellations
AJC 4x4 Hire requires a 30% deposit to secure your booking.
In the case of cancellation from the client, the deposit is refundable with the following deductions:
(i) If cancelled before 60 days to the delivery date, 5% will be deducted from the deposit.
(ii) If cancelled between 60 and 14 days to the delivery date, 20% will be deducted from the deposit.
(iii) If cancelled less than 14 days before the delivery date, 50% will be deducted from the deposit.
Nissan Hardbody Double Cab; 5 seater
The deposit will be wire transferred to the client within 4 working days, once the account details are received.

Insurance
Our vehicles are comprehensivly insured at a cost of R 200.00 a day and will be covered in South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia. (Additional insurance needed for Kenya and Tanzania) This insurance is compulsory. Land Rover assistance is available to all these countries except Mozambique and Zambia. Travel to these two countries must be pre-authorized.
There is NO THIRD PARTY insurance cover outside the borders of South Africa. Therefore compulsory THIRD PARTY insurance is available at the border posts when entering neighboring countries.
In the event of a major accident, major damage, theft or complete loss of the vehicle, our insurers require an excess payment of 6% of the damage or in the case of complete loss, 6% of the value of the vehicle.
It is for this reason that AJC 4x4 Hire require from the client to secure the amount of the excess in the form of a cash or cash equivalent deposit, or grant authorization to secure the amount on a credit card for the duration of the rental.
Ajc 4x4 Hire requires a
R 20000.00 cash or cash equivalent deposit, or grant authorization to secure the amount on a credit card for the duration of the rental.
Credit Card Payments
AJC 4x4 Hire would need the following credit card details:
1. Credit Card Number
2. Account name
3. Security Number
4. Expiry Date
5. Deposit
6. Rent/Other Total
7. Signature of Hirer
There will be a 5% handling fee on all credit cards.
